- I think many fail to understand that Lysacek won not by virtue of his skating but rather because Plushenko did not get a high enough score. There is all the difference in that. Lysacek skated a "clean" enough program but it was bland, forgettable and void of originality or artistry.

- @Rex "I find it difficult to fathom how one cannot execute the cutting edge maneuver in one's sport and still be considered the best." That's exactly the point Rex, and if I were Plushenko, I would be hurt and outraged. Mishin is absolutely right in describing the scroring as "criminal".

- Plushenko was robbed. He is hands down the greatest skater living today and I will bet anything he will continue to grow as an artist and athlete to unprecedented heights in the world of figure skating. Plushenko is in many ways ahead of his time and he is getting a lot of flack for it.
